It seems C/2017 S3 PANSTARRS has disintegrated following an outburst about 10 days ago.

The comet was predicted to be a naked eye object in early August that now seems very unlikely!
Meanwhile periodic comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner is brightening for telescopic observers and following nearly the same path as 2017 S3 through the northern sky.
